      The elections results are in I sent the information out threw text message, however some cell phones will only show part of the message.  The text stated: The VP voting for the local 4413 is complete. 62 members have voted with only 2 that abstained.  The votes are 36 for Dan Hoyt and 26 for Dominick Maestre.  We want to congratulate Dan for his win in the VP election.

Brother Ed Paris was awarded (posthumously) the Martin  E. Pierce Sr. Medal, Local 718 highest award. Maureen Paris accepted the award on behave of the Paris Family.

He was recently hospitalized for Congestive Heart Failure then a scan revealed pancreatic cancer that has metastasized to his liver. Bill lives in Sebring Florida but will be starting chemo and radiation next week in Tampa.

      Hinsdale Road Gas Leak
      06/18/19 - South Metro Firefighters IAFF LOCAL 2086
      At approximately 16:05 on June 17th, 2019 Local members was dispatched to a reported gas leak at 16990 Hinsdale Rd. in Centennial.  Members arrived on scene to find a heavy flame coming from a ruptured gas line.  Members monitored the scene while Xcel worked to crimp the line and neutralize the leak.  The road was closed for approximately 2 hours.  No injuries were reported.

      The Fayetteville Firefighters along with the Elks of Lodge 1987 will be hosting our Annual Crawfish and Shrimp Boil on July 4th 2019. It will be held at the Elks Lodge on Crossover Rd in North East Fayetteville. It is open to the public and all proceeds go to the Fayetteville Firefighters Children Scholarship Fund.  Cost is $10.

      Ok, so this SATURDAY June 15th is the annual 858 Picnic and BBQ.  It’s is being held at Chatfield Reservior In the group camping loops, food serving will start @ 4pm, delicious food and beverages provided.
